Sir,

We urge upon you to kindly settle the problems prevailing in our division early. The issues are listed below.

1.       An LRMTS official working at Olavakkot HO was transferred to Nurani recently. She was again transferred and posted as MTS divisional office without waiting for senior officials to apply for the ensuing vacant post. We persume that the posting at the divisional office was done all of a sudden at the behest of some vested interests. The junior most LRMTS , who is bound to go for deputations is posted in a permanent post. This is nothing but a case of denial of natural justice to the senior officials who are eagerly waiting for their turn.

This action may be re examined.

2.      There are instances of reduction of TRCA which was not a practice in our Division. With the joint effort of the administration and the staff, the work load of the official was increased and he/she was saved from the cluthes of TRCA reduction.It is unfortunate to snatch away the livelihood of the poor and underpaid GDS employee. Therefore every possible effort is to be taken to help him to improve his workload. Till that time, the reduction may please be kept in abeyance.

3.      The compassionate appointment of GDS officials are badly delayed in this division. It is highly unfair to delay the proceedings of the most emotionally and financially miserable people in a casual manner.

4.      The supply of umbrellas and bags may be ensured .Also please ensure the supply of lady uniforms.

5.      Please consider the transfer / relief requests of Postman and PAs forcibly posted at stations like Pudunagaram, Kotambu, Peringottukurissi , Thekkegramam ,Kuthanur etc.

6.      Enhance the rate of Conveyance allowance of GDS officials carrying BO bags as extra duty from the present Rs 250.00 to Rs 500 .

7.      The maternity allowance of GDS officials may please be granted.

8.      Building cases- The cases of Palakkad staff quarters, Kunnathurmedu, Palakkad Fort, Chittur etc may be settled early.

9.      Replace the unusable computers, printers, UPS etc of post offices. Settle the finacle issues.

10. Staff management- Please adhere norms in deputations.

11. Avoid delay in sanctoning RPLI incentives.

12. Reconsider inflicting punishments like Rule 16 for reasons beyond the control of officials. In issues with the public and the officials, the administration is requested to take a viable stand instead of the anti employee attitude.

It is the unanimous decision of our executive committee to resort to agitation programmes if the issues are not settled within a specific time. We hope you will have the mind to discuss the issues with us and try to settle the problems at the earliest.
