LATEST DEVELOPMENT OF GDS BONUS ISSUE

Regarding grant of enhanced bonus of 7000 to GDS, Com. R. N. Parashar, Secretary General, NFPE discussed with Chairman, GDS Committee, Shri Kamalesh Chandra today (29.09.2016). Chairman informed that he had recommended for payment of bonus to GDS at the enhanced calculation ceiling of Rs. 7000/- and the file returned to Postal Board. (Last time Nataraja Murthy Committee has recommended that GDS should not be paid enhanced bonus and their bonus should be reduced to 50% of the departmental employees). Now that, GDS committee has recommended 7000, Postal JCA has demanded Postal Board to issue bonus orders of GDS with calculation ceiling of 7000/- without any further delay.

2^nd SEPTEMBER A GRAND SUCCESS 

 

Strike called by Joint platform of Central Trade Unions and Independent Federations of Central & State Government employees was a grands success. 

 

In our Division only 5 - 6 SOs opened.  Major offices like Alathur Mbr HO, Vadakkancherry, Kollengode, Nemmara, Chittur, Nurani, Palakkad City, Coyalmanna, Kongad, Mannur etc remained closed.  PO operations in more than 75 Sub offices and in almost all BOs also were at standstill. 

 

97 % of Staff participated in the strike by making their strong protest against anti - employee , anti working class policies of the NDA government. 

 

The mail movement in Palakkad Division was in a standstill state due to total closure of RMS. 

 

NFPE Palakkad Division appreciates the employees who participated in National strike and convey them revolutionary greetings for marching under the flags of NFPE.
