The following additional items may please be discussed in the monthly meeting to be held on march-2104.

1.     Name board of Walayar dam PO.

           Looks very shabby and broken, kindly replace.

2.     Repair of well of Kavassery PO.

           The good drinking water well fully damaged. Action may be taken to repair.

3.     Acute water scarcity facing at Pallipuram So.

           Proper arrangement of water supply may be done immediately in the

           summer seasons. Staffs are suffering.

4.     Bore well repair Kollengode Po.

           No progress in repair, immediate action may be taken.

5.     Posting of CO Alathur mbr HO.

            Immediate action may be taken to fill up the post.

CENTRAL GOVT COORDINATION COMMITTEE REGISTER PROTEST AGAINST THE ATTITUDE OF THE GOVERNMENT IN NOT HONOURING ITS COMMITMENT OF HOLDING DISUCSSION WITH THE STAFF SIDE JCM NATIONAL COUNCIL BEFORE FINALISING THE TERMS OF REFERENCE OF THE 7^TH CPC AND DEMAND IMMEIDATE ACCEPTANCE OF :

(ii)          Merger of DA

(iii)         Bringing the Grameen Dak Sewaks within the ambit of the 7^th CPC

(iv)         Date of effect from 1/1/2014

(v)          Parity in pension entitlement between the past and present pensioners

(vi)         Coverage of the existing defined benefit pension scheme to employees recruited on or after 1.1.2004.

(vii)       Include a representative of the Labour in the 7^th Central Pay Commission.

(viii)     Settle the anomalies raised in the National Anomaly Committee

Revision of Interest Rates for Small Savings Schemes for the Financial Year 2014-15 Announced

            Various decisions taken by the Government of India on the recommendations of the Shyamala Gopinath Committee for Comprehensive Review of National Small Savings Fund (NSSF), were communicated to all concerned by the Government through its Office Memorandum dated 11^th November, 2011.

            One of the decisions of the Government based on the recommendations of the Committee relates to revision of interest rates every financial year, to be notified before 1^st April of that year.  Accordingly with the approval of the Finance Minister, the rates of interest on various small savings schemes for the Financial Year 2014-15 effective from 01.04.2014, on the basis of the interest compounding/payment built-in in the schemes, shall be as under :
